VOLTTRON Controller for Integrated Energy Systems to Enable Economic Dispatch Improve Energy Efficiency and Grid Reliability

The objective of this task is to design, develop, field test and commercialize a multi-purpose controller and associated open-source algorithms that will ensure real-time optimal operation, increase electric grid reliability, and lead to the goal of clean, efficient, reliable and affordable next generation integrated energy system (IES). The outcome of this effort is to provide the building operator with automated capability for economic dispatch, improved energy efficiency and increased grid reliability.

VOLTTRON Support to Other GMLC Projects: The primary objectives of this task are to extend the usability and integration capabilities of the VOLTTRON platform and to support the success of other GMLC projects that rely upon the VOLTTRON platform and to generally extend the ability of VOLTTRON to support new use cases.
